Hi there đź‘‹đź‘‹! My name is Giulio Sven Barresi.
I’m a Norwegian User Experience Designer and Strategist based in Geneva, Switzerland.

I’ve always been passionate about messy colorful and interactive stuff.
User empathy, research and understanding combined with the mess of the creative process have helped me creating sense. Developing systems, architectures that translate into meaningfull experiences for the end-user.


I do have a lot of fun designing things for me, myself and I, but even more when I can create products and experiences that help millions of users.
My design scope ranges from creating provocative and speculative design statements to elaborating strategies and tagible experiences for a multi-billion business.

I now lead teams to develop best in class experiences for our consumers and develop new business opportunities.

Here’s a few projects I’ve been involved with since I joined Logitech in 2018.

I’ve been working on multiple explorations and products within the engineering and design group, building strong transversal skills by exploring UX in a hollistic way. I’ve had the opportunity to practice visual design, interaction design, defining user flows and information architectures for hardware as well as software products, and also prototyping; from packaging to electronics.

From early 2020, I’ve have been leading the user experience for the Master Series, by Logitech. Working with a cross-disciplinary team of business leaders, marketers, designers and engineers, to bring best in class, end-to-end experiences to our consumers for the near and longer term future.
This role covers as much tangible short term projects, as well as developing forward looking strategies and explorations.

Since 2022 I've transitioned into a management position and provide UX oversight over multiple business groups across the company. With the aim of developing company-wide ecosystem platforms.

Installations & provocations
Here’s a collection of pieces of work I mainly worked on during my studies at ECAL/University of art and design Lausanne, Switzerland and at SIGMASIX interactive lab.

Provocations, experimentations and research at the intersections of art, design and science. Projects ranging from functional prototypes to permanent installations.

A thingy to upload plant health data to the cloud.
Catapulse
A toaster living it’s own life. Dreaming of funky objects to eject from its core.
Tools for connected humans
A set of tools attempting to make humans less addicted to their smartphone.

An open souce WiFi megaphone for activists and terrorists.
Trafficmood
A script sending printed letters to Geneva’s public transportation administration when delays occur on the network.
Station Lights
A LED matrix installed at Le Châble train station, enlightening passengers on their way to the famously known Swiss ski station, Verbier.
The VR sight test
A provovocation around sight loss due to close exposure against screens.
